07: Morpheus D. Duvall and Randy

Morpheus began in umbrella as a young businessman or something. He was NOT a scientist. It never says he was a scientist. Just a man who steals others work. Anyway... he eventually was moved to a backwater disposal facility. This angered him, even though he ran it well. After Raccoon City, it waas suggested that he was behind Dr. William Birkins death, therefore behind the whole disaster. He was suspended and an investigation began. This caused him to go off his rocker, or so to speak. He stole the newly mixed G/T-virus (with newly added electrical features) and a cruise ship that was owned by the company, swearing vengeance. He planned to sell the virus on the black market and use the money to build "paradise".

Bruce McGivern, a government agent, was sent to aprehend the man. Morpheus got wounded in an explosion by Fong Ling, an agent from China. This led Morpheus to ingect himself with the virus. Just like all tyrants, he escaped with his life. Now he not only swore vengeance on Umbrella, but all of humanity. So, Morpheus, unlike the others, wishes to destroy anything that isn't worthy of his paradise. He isn't really involved with Las Plagas, but he supports their ideas.

Randy is one of Morpheus's underlings, sent out to Seattle. Under Morpheus's instruction, he took out William Birkin (haha, again), only to end up giving him amnesia. Either way it worked out. He needed the scientist out of the way, at least until he could decide what he wanted to do with him later. Randy is now set up as William's boyfriend. Not only to keep tabs on him but keep him from remembering.
